Customer Excellence Specialist (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Customer Excellence Specialist you will be the main point of contact for local project logistics activities, ensuring shipments are delivered on time, comply with regulations and meet customer expectations. You will work within Kuehne+Nagel’s Freight Forwarding team, supporting the transport of medicines, toys, machine parts and other critical goods worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate project logistics shipments, guaranteeing timely delivery and regulatory compliance.
• Follow standard operating procedures, customer requirements and company policies in daily operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
• Maintain HSSE, regulatory and company compliance across all activities.
• Build strong customer relationships through timely communication and reliable service.
• Manage financial and administrative tasks such as purchase orders, invoices, accruals and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate billing, timely invoicing and smooth service delivery.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in project logistics, freight forwarding or multimodal transport operations.
• Knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry; experience in FMCG and beverage logistics is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.

Required skills

• Dangerous Goods (DG) certification – advantageous.
