About the role
The Country Partnerships & Technical Assistance Lead serves as mothers2mothers' primary representative in Angola, overseeing the implementation of the EKN HIV Instrument programme. The role coordinates project activities, provides technical assistance to partners, and strengthens strategic partnerships with government and civil‑society stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead country‑level coordination of project workplans and ensure alignment with regional objectives.
- Facilitate planning, implementation, monitoring and adaptive management of project activities.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with ministries, agencies and community organisations.
- Support integration of HIV, SRHR, GBV and MHPSS approaches within national systems.
- Promote institutionalisation of programme approaches and alignment with national priorities.
- Identify and develop strategic collaborations to enhance impact and sustainability.
- Represent mothers2mothers in technical working groups and national coordination platforms.
Required profile
- Proven experience coordinating country‑level health projects or programmes.
- Strong track record of government engagement and partnership development.
- Knowledge of HIV, sexual and reproductive health rights, gender‑based violence and mental health support.
- Ability to facilitate technical assistance and capacity‑building for local organisations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
