About the role
The Contract & Operations Data Analyst ensures effective contract performance, financial control, and data‑driven decision‑making across logistics and materials service contracts. Acting as a bridge between Logistics, Procurement, Finance, and Contractors, the analyst transforms operational and financial data into actionable insights to improve transparency, governance, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Verify that contractor deliverables comply with contractual terms and conditions.
- Maintain complete contract documentation and ensure proper handover from Procurement.
- Monitor contractor compliance, including insurance, guarantees, certifications, and HSE requirements.
- Track contract changes such as Variation Orders, amendments, and call‑offs.
- Support internal and external audits with audit‑ready documentation.
- Monitor contract expenditure against approved values and logistics budgets.
- Prepare and validate monthly financials, accruals, and cost allocations.
- Develop short‑ and long‑term forecasts and perform variance analysis.
- Identify cost optimisation opportunities through data analysis and trend monitoring.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports (Power BI / Excel) for cost, performance, and risk metrics.
- Provide regular performance and financial reports to stakeholders and support contractor performance reviews.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of contract management principles and commercial terms.
- Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
