Cashier – Customer Service & Transaction Specialist

About the role

The Cashier is the front‑line representative of Rural King, responsible for delivering a friendly and efficient checkout experience. You will greet customers, process transactions accurately, and promote store programs while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store.
• Process sales, returns, layaways, and exchanges using the cash register and follow company policies.
• Educate shoppers about the Rural King loyalty program, RK Visa card, and RK Plus Protection Plan.
• Handle cash management, price disputes, and transaction accuracy.
• Collaborate with store loaders and other associates to address customer needs promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
