Application Support Engineer - DevOps

About the role

An immediate opening for an Application Support Engineer with a focus on DevOps, supporting Java‑based applications throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support Java/J2EE applications across development, testing, and production environments.
• Monitor application performance, availability, and health to ensure business continuity.
• Troubleshoot application, deployment, and environment issues and drive timely resolution.
• Support CI/CD processes and release management using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git.
• Collaborate with development, testing, infrastructure, and business teams during deployments and production incidents.
• Analyze logs, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform application validation and post‑deployment health checks.
• Participate in application upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in application support, DevOps, or production support.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Java/J2EE
