AMO Manager – Completions & Wellbore Intervention

About the role

The AMO Manager will be fully responsible for workshop operations, personnel, assets, processes and KPI performance within the assigned location. Reporting to the Regional AMO Leader, the role ensures alignment with global AMO standards and drives operational excellence in a global energy‑technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full accountability for all workshop activities and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with global AMO processes, procedures, standards and governance requirements.
• Lead workshop HSE and Quality activities and implement corrective actions.
• Manage productivity, cost, manpower utilization, inventory, equipment readiness and operational efficiency.
• Guarantee maintenance and production activities meet customer expectations and established KPIs.
• Champion Lean, 6S and continuous‑improvement initiatives across the facility.
• Develop, coach and manage workshop personnel, ensuring competency and career progression.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and HSE to achieve business objectives.
• Report operational performance, compliance and KPI delivery to the Regional AMO Leader.
• Monitor, analyse and report KPIs, driving corrective actions and sustainable improvements.
• Escalate operational risks, resource constraints and performance gaps with recovery plans as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Asset Maintenance Operations, workshop management, manufacturing, maintenance, completions or intervention.
• Proven leadership experience managing workshop personnel and operational performance.
• Strong understanding of HSE, Quality, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a global environment.
