Mechanic, Electrician & Assistant Driller (Offshore)

About the role

WWS Energies is seeking a versatile professional to work offshore in Angola, combining mechanical, electrical and drilling support duties on an oil and gas rig. The role requires hands‑on maintenance of equipment and assistance to the Driller in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain mechanical equipment used on the drilling rig.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of rig power and control systems.
• Support the Driller by preparing drilling tools, monitoring drilling parameters and supervising routine drilling activities.
• Ensure compliance with offshore safety and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Angolan citizenship.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant offshore experience.
• Valid Seaman’s Book and BST (Basic Safety Training) certification.
• Current medical certificate.
• Experience on jackup rigs and well‑control knowledge for the Assistant Driller function.
