Quality Engineer - Product Quality Assurance

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our cutting‑edge Quality team that supports the design and production of oilfield equipment. You will apply quality concepts and technical expertise to maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS), drive continuous improvement, and ensure reliable, high‑quality finished goods for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Actively participate in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) programs and keep work areas safe, clean and organized according to the 6S checklist.
• Review ORA/HRA/MOC/Work Permits before starting work and exercise Stop‑Work authority when safety or quality concerns arise.
• Facilitate root‑cause analysis of non‑conformities, collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, and implement corrective actions to reduce defects, scrap, rework and escapes.
• Work with the Quality Manager to keep site‑specific QMS documents up‑to‑date, organize management reviews, and track QMS data for continual improvement.
• Drive improvement projects, monitor key quality performance indicators, and promote global standardisation of processes and inspections.
• Set up and maintain inspection and testing plans, QIRs and skip‑lot procedures in SAP.
• Support supply‑chain readiness by defining inspection methods, equipment and frequency.
• Manage project‑quality activities and participate in internal and external quality audits.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to HSE and quality standards, with the ability to stop work for safety or quality issues.
• Proven experience in root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action implementation.
• Ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience organising management reviews and tracking QMS performance data.
