U-Report Consultant (National only)

About the role

The U‑Report Consultant will lead the design, coordination and implementation of UNICEF’s SMS Jovem (U‑Report) platform in Angola. Working from the Luanda office, the consultant will ensure the platform effectively engages youth, captures data and supports evidence‑based advocacy over a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage all activities related to the SMS Jovem (U‑Report) digital platform.
• Coordinate with UNICEF country teams, partners and youth networks to drive platform adoption.
• Implement youth engagement strategies and monitor platform performance.
• Analyse data and produce reports to inform advocacy and programme decisions.
• Provide technical support and training to users and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Education, social studies or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working on education programmes or similar initiatives.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in Portuguese.

Required skills

• Basic digital skills, including familiarity with online platforms and data collection tools.
