Trade Activations Manager

About the role

The Trade Activations Manager will lead the optimisation of trade activation initiatives across the Route to Consumer (RTC) in Angola. Reporting to the Consumer & Trade Activations Manager, you will combine data analysis with field insights to ensure trade investments meet defined objectives and KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Translate marketing and sales strategies into channel‑specific activation and investment proposals.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive execution excellence from concept to field implementation.
• Monitor market, channel, portfolio and promotion performance to optimise trade and consumer activation practices.
• Track investment performance against objectives, providing insights and corrective recommendations.
• Manage project‑level marketing budgets with full accountability and compliance.
• Foster a ONE TEAM mindset and support the development of team members where applicable.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and/or sales.
• Strong commercial acumen and deep knowledge of the trade landscape and RTC.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced data analysis capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
