Technical Superintendent (H/F)

About the role

Bourbon Marine Services Greenmar (BMSG), the manning affiliate of Bourbon Group, is recruiting a Technical Superintendent. You will ensure the technical availability of the vessels in your fleet, in line with the approved budget and Bourbon standards, working in an operational cell led by the Vessel Manager and reporting to the Technical Director. The post is performed on a B2B basis on a 7 weeks on / 7 weeks off rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance follows Bourbon standards and procedures
• Plan and carry out annual technical inspections of the fleet's vessels
• Manage the Chief Engineers assigned to the fleet
• Coordinate with internal teams, vessel crews, Flag Authorities, Classification Societies, suppliers and agencies
• Support the fleet's HSE culture and take part in incident investigations
• Contribute to the annual maintenance budget and monitor maintenance costs

Required profile

• Chief Engineer's certificate or equivalent maritime qualification
• Managerial experience on board or within a shipping company
• Fluent written and spoken English

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC and STCW requirements
• Proficiency in CMMS tools and maintenance procedures
• Ability to analyse technical issues, investigate and lead technical projects
• Strong coordination and project management skills
