About the role
The Support Services Specialist provides comprehensive administrative, human‑resources, financial and logistical support to the mission of the United Arab Emirates in the host country. The role ensures that policies, procedures and systems are correctly applied across multiple departments and that day‑to‑day operations run smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Implement HR policies, labour‑law compliance and provide guidance to staff.
- Apply financial procedures, coordinate with the Financial Affairs Department and support procurement of office supplies.
- Manage electronic systems, security devices and coordinate IT and Security Affairs issues.
- Organise electronic archiving, diplomatic mail and maintain the office archive.
- Coordinate logistical needs, arrange meetings, events and official visits.
- Conduct building inspections, oversee maintenance, and liaise with Engineering Projects and Facilities.
- Enforce security protocols for building access, visitor management and mail handling.
- Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, promotions, transfers and related HR processes.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of strategic and operational plans.
Required profile
- Knowledge of local labour legislation and government administrative procedures.
- Experience in HR, finance, procurement or mission support functions.
- Ability to work across multiple departments and coordinate follow‑up actions.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to procedural compliance.
