Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

Supply Chain Specialist needed for Svitzer's operations in Soyo, Angola. The role supports marine operations by ensuring efficient flow of materials, services and equipment, reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement, warehousing, inventory management and logistics across the site.
• Manage Purchase‑to‑Pay processes, ensuring compliance and cost‑effectiveness.
• Work closely with vessel crews, operational teams, suppliers and finance to guarantee timely delivery of critical supplies.
• Oversee customs clearance and import/export procedures in accordance with Angolan regulations.
• Maintain accurate records in the ERP system (Sertica or equivalent) and generate regular reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, logistics, warehousing or inventory management, preferably in maritime, oil & gas or industrial sectors.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using ERP systems such as Sertica for procurement and inventory control.
