Supply Chain Manager – Angola (Nationals Only)

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager will lead the end‑to‑end supply chain function for our Luanda operation, ensuring alignment with business strategy and operational goals. This senior position reports to senior leadership and carries full supervisory responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a supply chain strategy that supports operational plans and growth targets.
• Build, lead and mentor a professional SCM organization covering demand planning, procurement, sourcing, supplier management, material planning, work order management, warehousing, logistics and shipping/receiving.
• Define, monitor and report on KPIs, using ERP data and MDI to drive performance.
• Maintain compliance with ethical standards, environmental policies, regulations and internal rules.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting and corrective actions for variances.
• Collaborate with Purchasing Director, Category Management and other leaders to shape sourcing strategy and strengthen the supply base.
• Oversee ERP item master settings and lead implementation of new tools and process improvements.
• Lead change‑management initiatives related to SCM and ensure a safe, high‑quality operating environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in supply chain management and leadership, preferably in an industrial or logistics environment.
• Proven ability to manage large, cross‑functional teams and complex budgets.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on KPI‑driven performance.
