Subsea Project Manager

About the role

The Subsea Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating one or multiple subsea projects to ensure they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while meeting all customer requirements. The role involves close interaction with customers, internal operations, and commercial teams to drive project success.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and control project budgets, providing revenue and cost advice.
• Develop and maintain resource‑loaded project schedules with detailed work breakdown structures (WBS).
• Manage day‑to‑day project activities, supervise on‑site personnel, and allocate resources across project phases.
• Identify and resolve issues that could cause downtime or delays, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Assist customers in preparing design ideas and specifications, and support sales and marketing activities.
• Coordinate with Operations Lead and Commercial teams on bids, proposals, and ITT reviews.
• Review and approve quality plans, technical procedures, and project documentation.
• Prepare and present project reports, forecasts, variance analyses, and financial statements for management and clients.
• Oversee invoicing, supplier requisitions, and accounts receivable matters.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing subsea or offshore projects from inception to delivery.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting.
• Ability to develop detailed project schedules and WBS.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers, internal teams, and suppliers.
• Experience preparing bids, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel domestically and overseas.
