About the role

Wood is seeking Angolan‑national engineers across a range of disciplines to support upcoming oil and gas projects in Angola. Candidates should hold a degree in their engineering field and possess several years of relevant experience, particularly in operations and maintenance.

Required profile

• Degree‑level qualification or equivalent in the relevant engineering discipline.
• Several years of experience in the oil and gas industry, especially in operations and maintenance.
• Proven experience in the listed disciplines (Electrical, Instrument & Control, Mechanical, Process, Pressure Systems, Reliability, Rotating Equipment, Structural, Subsea, Welding).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Portuguese.
• Demonstrated energy, compassion and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to strengthen relationships and deliver on client expectations.
• Commitment to improving safety standards and behaviours on site.
• Willingness to work on projects in Angola and contribute to a lower‑carbon future.
