Senior Brand Manager (FMCG)

About the role

The Senior Brand Manager plans, coordinates and implements the marketing strategies of the brands and product lines under their responsibility, so that marketing objectives such as volume, sales, profit and market share are met while maintaining profitability. The role also leads product management and demand management, and must comply with company regulations and the Commercial Management guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing plans for the brands and define objectives for Point of Sale material.
• Manage brand positioning, messaging and creative development across channels, and safeguard the company's and products' image.
• Lead product management: define the NPD pipeline, identify products to discontinue or modify, and lead demand management with forecasts by SKU.
• Define pricing strategies per brand and manage the M&P budget to maximise ROI.
• Conduct market research, run blind taste tests and visit markets regularly to track trends and consumer insights.
• Generate reports and recommendations, and follow the Commercial Approval Matrix.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on marketing and sales; a postgraduate degree is desirable.
• At least 2 years of marketing experience in an FMCG company.
• Demonstrated success in brand management and driving business growth.
• Proficiency in both English and Portuguese.
