Sales Consultant

About the role

Rural King Farm and Home Store is seeking a Sales Consultant to help customers with their agricultural and household needs. You will use your knowledge of farm equipment, power equipment, tools, and home essentials to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding power equipment and other products that match their applications, preferences, and budget.
• Engage customers using the company’s customer‑engagement model to understand their needs.
• Guide customers through the retail financing process and ensure all requirements are met before releasing tractors or other equipment.
• Manage ordering of power equipment for store stock and special customer orders.
• Receive, move, and display power‑equipment products while following the Indoor Merchandising Guide.
• Conduct product demonstrations when needed.
• Help customers locate items, suggest alternatives, and resolve questions or issues promptly.
• Collect contact information for follow‑up on out‑of‑stock items, new arrivals, or order status.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.

Required profile

• Strong interest in agricultural and household products.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and clear product advice.
• Willingness to learn store procedures, financing processes, and merchandising standards.
