Reporting and Compliance Officer

About the role

The Reporting and Compliance Officer will oversee and coordinate daily compliance activities for the organization, ensuring ethical conduct and adherence to contractual obligations. This role supports the PROÁGUA initiative, a water infrastructure project in Angola, by establishing robust compliance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update a company compliance manual in collaboration with internal stakeholders and TSST.
• Design and oversee internal and external audit procedures to detect misconduct or non‑compliance.
• Create and deliver a compliance training program for employees, contractors, and partners.
• Implement internal controls to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
• Coordinate with Human Resources to establish consistent disciplinary mechanisms for non‑compliance.
• Monitor investigations, develop corrective action plans, and follow up on resolutions.
• Provide periodic and annual compliance status reports to Management and HR.
• Protect confidential information and prevent unauthorized disclosure.
• Alert management to compliance risks and propose remediation solutions.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of compliance, ethics, and contractual regulations.
• Experience in designing compliance manuals and audit processes.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple internal departments and external partners.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.
