QHSE Coordinator

About the role

The QHSE Coordinator will develop and implement an integrated management system covering quality, health, safety and environment for SGS operations in Angola. The role supports strategic aims and promotes a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Integrated Management System strategies, plans and resources.
• Review, develop and implement international QHSE standards, policies and systems for Angola operations.
• Maintain key accreditations with external bodies.
• Support local management in building and improving QHSE culture on site.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar QHSE role.
• Degree in ergonomics, work psychology or any engineering discipline.
• Proven HSE training certificate and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and preferably Angolan nationality.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.
• Experience with audit methods, standards and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Teams and SharePoint.
