Project Planner / Design Engineer – 5-Month International Assignment

About the role

We are seeking a Project Planner / Design Engineer to support a large-scale construction and engineering project in Angola for a five-month assignment. The role offers international exposure and the chance to work on a high-profile development while collaborating closely with the client and on-site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate construction and engineering project plans.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, cost estimates, bills of quantities and technical specifications.
• Produce Health & Safety studies and waste-management plans.
• Monitor project costs, risks and change management activities.
• Supervise construction works, ensure schedule compliance and resolve on-site issues.
• Liaise with the client and coordinate the assigned project team.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Building Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar planning or design engineering role.
• Well-organized, proactive and solution-oriented with strong teamwork abilities.
• English and/or German language skills are desirable.
