Project Manager – Construction & Infrastructure

About the role

Mitrelli is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects in Benguela, Angola. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain complex engineering and construction schedules for large projects.
• Monitor start‑up activities, track progress, and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Oversee all aspects of project planning, including budgeting, reporting, HSE, and quality control.
• Review contractor and supervision team performance, enforce best‑practice methods, and manage risk escalation.
• Coordinate with bidding, contracting, PMO, and procurement teams to minimize disruptions.
• Manage the flow of resources – human, material, equipment, and tools – and provide strong leadership to project teams.
• Communicate clearly with all stakeholders, guiding decisions across the organization.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 + years of experience in large‑scale construction projects, including contract and financial management.
• Proven track record in budgeting, procurement, change‑order management, invoicing, and financial reconciliation.
• Experience in building or infrastructure projects; contractor‑side project management highly valued.
