Microsoft Dynamics GP Support Consultant

About the role

Ware is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics GP Support Consultant to provide functional support to clients across multiple GP versions and environments. The role focuses on client setup, configuration, troubleshooting, issue diagnosis, and user assistance for the core GP application.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day functional support for Microsoft Dynamics GP clients.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in core GP modules, including posting errors, transaction problems, and reporting questions.
• Gather case details, identify root causes, and document resolutions in the support system.
• Assist with GP client workstation installations, configuration, and upgrades.
• Use SQL queries to investigate data, validate transactions, and support issue diagnosis.
• Escalate technical or development‑related issues with clear documentation.
• Support GP upgrades, environment reviews, and post‑upgrade issue resolution.
• Collaborate with consultants, developers, and infrastructure teams when issues span multiple areas.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics GP across several versions.
• Strong functional knowledge of core GP modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, and Purchasing.
• Ability to troubleshoot posting, batch, transaction, setup, and reporting issues.
• Comfortable communicating with end users, accounting teams, and client stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving skills.
