Marketing Communications Specialist

About the role

The Marketing Communications Specialist will be based on‑site in Luanda Province, Angola, working full‑time to develop and execute communication plans that reinforce brand positioning and support business objectives. The role collaborates closely with marketing, sales and senior leadership to ensure a consistent brand voice across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Create and refine messaging for multi‑channel campaigns, including digital and offline assets.
• Draft press releases and coordinate media outreach, managing relationships with journalists and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare content for websites, social media, newsletters, brochures and other marketing collateral.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyse results and produce reports and presentations for strategic decision‑making.
• Support public‑relations activities, event communications and reputation‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong background in Marketing Communications and Strategic Communications, with proven ability to align messaging to brand and business goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting ideas clearly to cross‑functional teams.
• Experience drafting and managing press releases and coordinating media interactions.
• Solid understanding of public‑relations practices, including media relations and event support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on‑site in Luanda, collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
