Market Research Analyst & Interviewer – Angola

About the role

Euromonitor International seeks a self‑motivated Market Research Analyst & Interviewer to support short‑term, project‑based fieldwork in Angola. You will work remotely, engaging with key industry players to gather primary data that fuels our business intelligence reports.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth interviews with manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, associations, government officials and other value‑chain participants.
• Research and network to identify and secure contacts across the FMCG and consumer services sectors.
• Collect and review secondary information from published sources.
• Visit retail locations to capture product details and staff insights.
• Analyze quantitative data using Microsoft Excel and qualitative insights from interviews.
• Perform hypothesis testing and synthesize findings.
• Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations in English using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Required profile

• Tenacious approach to information gathering with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build industry contacts.
• High numeracy and ability to interpret data.
• Fluency in English and the local language (Portuguese).
• Experience working on short‑term contracts or as a freelancer.
• Strong time‑management, organization and self‑motivation.
