Lifting Supervisor – Training & Operations

About the role

The Lifting Supervisor will lead all lifting activities on an onshore site in Angola, ensuring they are performed safely and in line with approved lifting plans, HSE standards, and company procedures. A key focus of the role is to train and mentor the onshore team, transferring valuable offshore expertise to improve safety and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on site.
• Verify compliance with lifting plans, HSE standards, and internal procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure equipment readiness before each lift.
• Train, coach, and mentor onshore personnel in safe lifting practices.
• Transfer offshore best‑practice knowledge to strengthen onshore operations.
• Maintain accurate lifting documentation and reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of offshore lifting experience (mandatory).
• Angolan citizenship.
• Valid OGUK membership and relevant certificates.
• CPLO or Offshore Deck Leader certification.
• BOSIET certification.
• Proven experience in training and mentoring teams.
