Lifting Supervisor – Training & Operations

About the role

The Lifting Supervisor will lead all lifting activities on an on‑shore site in Angola, ensuring they are performed safely and in line with approved lifting plans, HSE standards and company procedures. This position places a strong emphasis on training and mentoring the on‑shore team, transferring valuable offshore expertise to improve safety and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on site.
• Verify compliance with lifting plans, HSE standards and company procedures.
• Develop and deliver training programmes for on‑shore personnel.
• Mentor team members, sharing offshore best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper use of lifting equipment.

Required profile

• Angolan citizenship.
• Minimum 5 years of offshore lifting experience (mandatory).
• OGUK certification and other valid lifting certificates.
• BOSIET certification.
• Proven experience in training or mentoring technical teams.
