Lead Platform Support Engineer - DevOps

About the role

An experienced Lead Platform Support Engineer is sought to manage and support containerized application platforms in enterprise environments. The role focuses on platform stability, high availability, efficient deployments and timely resolution of production issues. The position is based in Angola and runs for 12+ months.

Required profile

• 5-7 years of experience in Platform Support, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Pods, containers and container orchestration.
• Practical experience with Ansible automation and configuration management.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, especially CI/CD pipelines and deployment management; Azure DevOps experience is mandatory.
• Good understanding of monitoring, logging, troubleshooting and production support processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and incident management skills, and ability to work with cross-functional technical teams.
• Preferred: Linux administration and scripting, DevOps best practices and release management, enterprise-scale container platform support, and production support in 24x7 environments.
