About the role
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager with a strong background in the Oil & Gas sector to drive new business and expand existing key accounts within SONANGOL joint ventures and international oil companies. The role focuses on positioning our product and service portfolio strategically while maintaining long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and engage new and existing customers, promoting product features and best sales practices.
- Develop deep understanding of customers' businesses and tailor solutions to meet their objectives.
- Build trusted advisor relationships across assigned accounts and act as the primary point of contact for the full portfolio.
- Increase market share by displacing competitors and positioning our portfolio on larger projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external sales teams to share product knowledge and improve service levels.
- Prepare strategic account plans, forecasts, and regular business reviews using CRM and budgeting tools.
- Partner with IOCs, NOCs, independent oil companies, and regulatory bodies such as ANPG, IRDP, and MIREMPET.
Required profile
- Engineering or Science degree (MBA preferred).
- Extensive experience in Angola’s Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven B2B sales track record with senior‑level customer engagement.
- Consultative selling approach and strong interpersonal communication.
Required skills
- Process automation industry knowledge.
- Experience working within matrix organizations and cross‑functional teams.
