IT Technician

About the role

The IT Technician will provide first‑ and second‑level technical support to all employees of Shalina Healthcare in Luanda. The role ensures that hardware, software, network and security components operate reliably and securely, supporting daily business activities.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and connectivity issues for end‑users.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, peripherals and other IT equipment.
• Deploy and support operating systems, business applications and Microsoft 365 services.
• Monitor and maintain local area networks, servers and related infrastructure.
• Perform regular backups, support data‑recovery procedures and monitor system health.
• Assist with IT security measures, access controls and endpoint protection.
• Maintain accurate records of assets, incidents and support requests.
• Support onboarding of new employees by preparing devices, accounts and system access.
• Coordinate with external service providers and contribute to IT projects, audits and compliance activities.

Required profile

• Technical diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration or related field.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco) are an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical support in a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on service quality.
