IT Operations Manager – Lead Infrastructure, Cloud & Service Desk

About the role

Azule Energy, Angola's largest oil and gas producer, is seeking an IT Operations Manager to oversee the entire technology estate, including infrastructure, cloud, networks, service desk, workplace services, and managed providers. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will be responsible for service performance, operational risk, and ensuring business continuity across on‑shore and offshore sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the IT Operations function covering infrastructure, cloud, networks, service desk, and workplace services.
• Conduct operational governance forums, incident and change reviews, and performance reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure ServiceNow supports incident, request, problem, change, knowledge, asset, and configuration management processes.
• Govern hybrid Azure and on‑premises platforms, servers, storage, databases, Microsoft 365, automation, and Azure Stack HCI.
• Oversee enterprise network operations, telecommunications, monitoring, and managed provider performance across all locations.
• Own operational resilience, backup/restore, disaster recovery testing, and continuity procedures.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to strengthen operational controls and incident readiness.
• Manage supplier performance, contracts, and financial aspects of IT services.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in IT Operations within a complex, multi‑site environment.
• Strong commercial acumen combined with deep technical judgment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders during escalations and major incidents.
