Fleet Manager – Angola

About the role

Bourbon Marine Services Greenmar (BMSG) is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee its crew‑boat fleet operating in Angola. The role ensures vessels are available, safe, compliant and cost‑effective while supporting the company’s growth and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the local Fleet Management team and cascade operational objectives aligned with Bourbon’s yearly plan.
• Implement and monitor crew‑boat standards, ensuring compliance with flag, ISM/ISPS, client, and Bourbon requirements.
• Supervise vetting processes, including OCIMF OVIQ/OVID standards, and coordinate with SRC, Crewing and HSE teams.
• Promote HSE and security culture, manage crisis situations, lead investigations and enforce corrective actions.
• Optimize fleet utilization, minimize downtime, and guarantee technical reliability through proactive maintenance and rapid repairs.
• Define, track and analyse the fleet budget, liaise with Cost Control for expenditures, and manage fleet‑related claims.
• Support the Commercial Team during tendering and project execution, providing cost insights and corrective actions for vessels in service.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fleet or maritime operations management, preferably in crew‑boat environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISM/ISPS certification, OCIMF standards and HSE regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent analytical abilities for budget control and performance monitoring.
