Finance Manager – Angola

About the role

The Finance Manager will ensure the quality, accuracy and timeliness of the affiliate’s financial information and reporting in Angola. This senior position requires international experience and will oversee accounting, budgeting, treasury and tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the affiliate’s accounts, invoicing, bookkeeping and analytical allocations in collaboration with local teams.
• Lead management reporting, budget preparation for fleet, shore‑based activities and G&A, and monitor variances.
• Manage cash planning, liquidity risk, currency impacts and support cash collection from customers.
• Ensure compliance with local taxes, GAAP and maintain relationships with tax authorities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional accounting qualification is a plus.
• 10‑15 years of finance/accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a senior controlling or finance management role.
• Proven international experience in a multi‑country environment and ability to operate in the Angolan regulatory and FX context.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP and reporting tools: Oracle, Anaplan, Magnitude, TAIGA, CAB, ICS.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP and tax compliance.
