Environmental Specialist

About the role

KBR is seeking an Environmental Specialist to join its team at the Lobito Refinery. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on ensuring environmental compliance and driving sustainability across refinery operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce adherence to KBR’s environmental policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and prepare related documentation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver training, reporting, and environmental consultancy.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental compliance, policy, or science.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of EHS principles and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage projects and organize compliance strategies.
