English & Portuguese Language Instructor

About the role

Poliglota is seeking an on‑site English and Portuguese Language Instructor to join its team in Luanda Province, Angola. The role involves delivering high‑quality language lessons, designing structured lesson plans, and adapting teaching methods to a diverse learner base.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct engaging English and Portuguese classes for learners of varying proficiency levels.
• Develop and maintain detailed lesson plans and curriculum materials.
• Incorporate cultural elements to enhance language comprehension and relevance.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve instructional approaches.

Required profile

• Proven experience in teaching English and Portuguese.
• Strong background in lesson planning and curriculum development.
• Educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles.
• Familiarity with the local Angolan context is a plus.
