Engineering and Services Lead

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking an Engineering and Services Lead to drive the design, inspection, and standardisation of engineering solutions across its global operations. The role combines technical oversight with leadership, ensuring that engineering projects meet quality, regulatory, and sustainability standards while supporting the company’s mission to co‑innovate for a better future.

Key responsibilities

• Design engineering solutions, define feasibility testing approaches, and supervise implementation.
• Conduct inspections of engineering works and existing installations, recommending remedial actions to ensure compliance.
• Develop and evaluate engineering standards and specifications, influencing internal and supplier practices.
• Communicate local action plans, align them with organisational strategy, and motivate teams to achieve business goals.
• Support internal communications systems, providing guidance and advice to maximise their use.
• Manage performance through personal objectives, team workload allocation, and corrective actions.
• Coach team members to build organisational capability and technical expertise.
• Execute project tasks within established project management frameworks to meet defined targets.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage complex technical information and solve problems from multiple angles.
• Strong leadership skills with experience motivating and directing multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills for internal stakeholder engagement and strategy alignment.
• Experience in performance management, coaching, and capability development.
• Ability to work within structured project management environments.
