Elementary School Teacher

About the role

Reis International School of Angola (RISANGOLA) is seeking a dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join its on‑site team in Luanda Province. The teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge International curriculum for primary‑grade learners, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily learning activities that meet Cambridge International standards.
• Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide differentiated support.
• Manage classroom behavior positively and create an inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Communicate regularly with families about student achievements and challenges.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in elementary education and proven ability to facilitate effective learning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teacher training or certification is highly desirable.
• Experience in curriculum development and aligning lessons with Cambridge International or similar frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, families, and staff.
• Commitment to inclusive practices, student well‑being, and continuous professional growth.
• Proficiency in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
