Egocentric Video Data Collector

About the role

We are seeking self‑motivated individuals to record first‑person (egocentric) video footage of everyday activities. This remote contract position involves wearing a head‑mounted smartphone or smart glasses while performing routine tasks, providing valuable data for training next‑generation AI models and humanoid robots.

Key responsibilities

• Capture raw POV video of meaningful daily tasks in various environments.
• Wear a comfortable head strap or smart glasses (provided) to record hands and objects interacting naturally.
• Strictly follow technical recording specifications (stable lighting, landscape orientation, specific resolution and frame‑rate, proper camera angles).
• Upload unedited video files and complete short metadata forms on the project portal within agreed timeframes.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team and re‑record clips if they do not meet framing or duration requirements.

Required profile

• Access to a modern smartphone capable of 1080p video at 30 or 60 FPS.
• Suitable residential or workspace environment where daily activities can be recorded.
• Strong attention to detail to follow recording rules (hands visible, no mirrors/reflections, steady framing).
• Privacy‑conscious: ensure no faces, personal IDs, or sensitive data are captured.
• Self‑starter able to commit 4–20 hours of usable footage over the project timeline.

Required skills

• Smartphone video capture (1080p, 30/60 FPS).
• Use of head‑mounted smartphone or smart glasses for hands‑free recording.
