Early Careers Field Technical Analyst

About the role

As a Field Technical Analyst in our Early Careers program, you will support on‑site teams by applying geological knowledge and technical expertise to ensure safe and efficient well operations. You will receive extensive training to develop both theoretical understanding and hands‑on skills in a dynamic energy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑ and post‑job support, including risk analysis for field colleagues.
• Assist in planning, preparing, executing, and debriefing field jobs.
• Create formation evaluation logs and analyze cuttings to identify rock types and hydrocarbon presence.
• Monitor well parameters and maintain sensors to track well conditions.
• Prepare wellsite reports and document findings.
• Understand rig components and the role of various SLB product lines.
• Continuously identify and implement best‑practice improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Applied Sciences, Earth Sciences or a related applied science.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong logical thinking with attention to detail.
• Motivation to continuously develop technical knowledge and skills.
