Director, Franchise Operations - Mid Africa

About the role

We are looking for a Director of Franchise Operations to act as the end‑to‑end orchestrator for our franchise team and senior partner with bottling partners across Mid‑Africa. The role spans Commercial, Marketing, RGM, Finance, Supply Chain and Insights, ensuring alignment and execution of the commercial agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior thought leadership to the bottler, shaping a balanced short‑term and long‑term agenda.
• Lead joint performance routines covering revenue, volume, share, distribution, visibility and asset productivity.
• Act as the core horizontal integrator, connecting Commercial, Marketing, RGM, Finance, Supply and Insights for cohesive planning.
• Identify inter‑dependencies, risks and trade‑offs across initiatives and drive proactive resolution.
• Orchestrate the cross‑functional operating and budget agenda, aligning investments with priorities.
• Own franchise‑level direct marketing investment effectiveness, turning insights into actionable decisions.
• Maintain disciplined operating rhythms, governance forums and escalation mechanisms.
• Drive outcome‑focused sprints on pricing compliance, in‑store visibility, cooler placement and outlet expansion.
• Co‑lead route‑to‑market improvements and pilots with the bottler, scaling proven models.
• Anticipate and mitigate operational, supply and competitive risks.

Required profile

• Senior leader with proven experience orchestrating complex, matrixed agendas.
• Strong influence across commercial, marketing, finance and supply‑chain functions.
• Track record of translating strategy and data into market actions.
• Experience working closely with bottling partners in a consumer‑goods environment.
• Excellent analytical, governance and execution discipline.
