Digital Communications Assistant

About the role
The Digital Communications Assistant will support WHO Angola’s digital communication, public engagement, and visibility initiatives from its Luanda office. The role focuses on creating and managing content across social media, the website, and multimedia channels to promote public‑health information and WHO programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and regularly update WHO Angola’s social media platforms, develop digital content calendars and monitor audience engagement.
- Design and produce graphics, infographics, photo stories and other digital assets; edit videos and audiovisual material for health campaigns.
- Support the drafting of press releases, impact stories, web articles and presentations, ensuring alignment with WHO branding.
- Maintain the WHO Angola website, updating content and ensuring accessibility and quality.
- Assist with communication and visibility for WHO events, health observances, campaigns and partnerships, collaborating with media, UN agencies and government bodies.
