Commissioning Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Commissioning Supervisor to lead the commissioning and start‑up of a large‑scale water treatment plant in Angola. The role involves planning, executing, and validating all commissioning activities to ensure the plant meets performance and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and schedule commissioning and start‑up plans for the water treatment facility.
• Verify compliance and proper operation of all process equipment before start‑up.
• Conduct dry and wet commissioning tests on treatment units, monitoring flow, pressure, level, chemical dosing and residence times.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot process anomalies, coordinating corrective actions with technical teams.
• Participate in performance testing and formal plant acceptance procedures.
• Ensure safe and efficient start‑up of all equipment and machinery.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in commissioning and process engineering.
• Proven track record on water‑treatment projects.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
