CMS Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom Content Management System applications. This fully remote position offers the chance to work closely with designers, content creators, and developers to deliver secure, high‑performance web experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage, and scale customized CMS applications, including custom themes, modules, and plugins.
• Implement responsive designs, ensure cross‑browser compatibility, and conduct performance tuning.
• Set up custom post types and fields to provide an intuitive editing experience for non‑technical users.
• Maintain site security, data protection, user authentication, backups, and software updates.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, and tracking tools.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, back‑end developers, and content stakeholders to meet brand guidelines and timelines.
• Produce clean code and comprehensive technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of software development experience with a strong focus on CMS technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6+).
• Server‑side languages: PHP, Python, or Ruby.
• Hands‑on experience with WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, or Magento.
• API integration, database management, and custom backend architecture.
• Technical SEO implementation.
