Business Developer

About the role

The Business Developer will drive growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence, particularly within the oil & gas sector in West Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Design and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Conduct market research to spot trends and customer needs.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contracts.
• Negotiate and close deals with clients.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align strategies.
• Track and report on sales performance and business growth metrics.
• Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development and sales, preferably in the oil & gas sector.
• Experience managing large accounts or partnerships.
• Established network within the industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation and strategic thinking abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
