Senior Reservoir Engineering & Geoscience Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level Reservoir Engineering and Geoscience consultant to join our Unified Ensemble Modelling (UEM) team. The successful candidate will work directly with oil‑and‑gas operators to design and deliver integrated, uncertainty‑aware reservoir studies that combine geological, geophysical, petrophysical and production data.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements focused on ensemble‑based reservoir modelling and uncertainty quantification.
• Design, execute and interpret integrated reservoir modelling studies, including history matching and field development planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary client teams to evaluate development scenarios and optimise reservoir management strategies.
• Deliver technical workshops and training to engineers, geologists and geo‑modellers.
• Provide feedback to product teams, test new software capabilities and help shape future workflows.
• Support business development by demonstrating technical value to prospective clients.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in reservoir engineering, petroleum engineering, geology, geophysics or a related subsurface discipline.
• Background in E&P operators, consulting firms or oilfield service companies with hands‑on experience in reservoir characterization, geo‑modelling or reservoir simulation.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and management audiences.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of integrated reservoir modelling workflows and uncertainty‑centric approaches.
• Practical experience with reservoir simulation, history matching and field development planning.
• Programming proficiency in Python (preferred).
