National AIC and CFS Consultant – Remote (7 months)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a National Consultant to support the Accelerated Innovation in Curriculum (AIC) and Community Feedback System (CFS) programmes in Huila and Cunene provinces. The consultant will work remotely for seven months, providing technical coordination, monitoring, and capacity‑building to provincial and municipal education authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and document results of the CFS project, ensuring lessons learned are integrated into government systems.
• Provide field‑level coordination and technical support for the expanded AIC initiative in Cunene.
• Implement the Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) strategy, facilitating community dialogues and promoting parental involvement.
• Support the new “Libraries without Walls” component to improve community access to reading materials.
• Prepare donor reports and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in education programme implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Proven ability to work with government education authorities and community stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
