About the role

Unitel, Angola's leading mobile operator, is seeking a full‑time Health Specialist to join its Luanda office. The role focuses on developing and delivering occupational health programs, ensuring compliance with health standards, and promoting employee well‑being across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor health‑related initiatives and wellness programs for staff.
• Ensure adherence to occupational health regulations and internal policies.
• Provide medical guidance, health assessments, and support for employee health inquiries.
• Collaborate with department heads to address workplace health concerns and promote a safe environment.
• Maintain records of health activities and report on program effectiveness.

Required profile

• Strong communication abilities to convey health information clearly.
• Customer‑service orientation with an empathetic approach to employee needs.
• Extensive experience in occupational health and medicine.
• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Public Health, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with Angolan health regulations is advantageous.
• Fluency in Portuguese; English proficiency is a plus.
