Business Development VIE – Luanda

About the role

This VIE position reports to the Deputy General Manager in Luanda, Angola and focuses on identifying growth opportunities, developing new business and supporting the commercial expansion of a shipping and logistics group. You will combine market analysis, data‑driven decision‑making and cross‑functional collaboration to shape the company’s commercial strategy in a fast‑evolving market.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market size, trends and growth potential across oil & gas, infrastructure and commodities sectors.
• Identify major development projects and assess their impact on logistics flows.
• Produce dashboards, reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint to monitor performance and business opportunities.
• Benchmark competitors on transit time, pricing and service offering, and contribute to solution optimisation.
• Support sales teams in opportunity tracking, cross‑selling and commercial project delivery.
• Maintain local office visibility on the corporate website and assist with brand and event initiatives.

Required profile

• European nationality, aged 18‑28, eligible for a VIE mission.
• Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, economics or a related field.
• Strong commercial mindset with analytical and strategic thinking.
