Well Site Supervisor – Operations Management

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an experienced Well Site Supervisor to lead contractual operations at a well site in Angola. You will ensure safe, efficient execution of well services while coordinating multiple service lines and third‑party subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Halliburton contractual operations on‑site under broad direction.
• Supervise day‑to‑day field activities, including rig‑up, rig‑down, equipment move‑in/out, and well operations.
• Coordinate product service lines and subcontractors to meet engineered well design requirements.
• Act as matrix manager for HSE and logistics personnel, leading audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Prepare and maintain a daily 7‑day look‑ahead plan for equipment, materials, and personnel.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma (minimum); undergraduate degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of industry experience, with 5+ years in operations management.
• Supervisory Well Control Certificate.
• Proven ability to lead junior supervisors and manage multi‑disciplinary teams.
