Vessel Project Manager

About the role

Bourbon Marine Services Greenmar (BMSG), the manning affiliate of Bourbon Group, manages more than 1,000 seafarers on more than 100 vessels. As Vessel Project Manager you will manage all aspects of the vessel project in line with contractual obligations and Bourbon project management standards, working safely. The position is open on a rotational schedule of 8 weeks on / 8 weeks off or 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams (QHSE, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, Ship Manager) and organize regular meetings so projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Supervise vessel on-hire processes, ensure smooth contract deployment and align operational planning with contractual requirements.
• Represent Bourbon in client meetings, run regular reviews, monitor satisfaction, manage claims and secure repeat business.
• Ensure Bourbon's HSE management systems are implemented and monitored, showing a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Deliver weekly and monthly project reports, monitor KPIs, validate financial statements and ensure accurate invoicing and cash collection.
• Manage operating margin according to the final client offer, guarantee revenues as per contract, and contribute to tendering, variation orders, subcontractor oversight and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or Maritime Studies.
• Proven experience in contract and project management within the offshore or maritime industry.
• Solid HSE background and a strong client-oriented mindset.
• Fluent professional English, written and spoken.
